Lees Stew Ribs

This rice wine lees was given by a good friend, and I decided to make this traditional dish that old Hokkien people made.

1 lbs ribs
1 tbsp of rice wine lees
1/2 inch of ginger, slice
1 bunch of spring onion
4 tbsps of rice wine
1 tsp of sugar/rock sugar
Soy sauce to taste

Clean the ribs, and boil it briefly, and run the ribs with clean water.

In a claypot, add a tsp of oil, saute the ginger and spring onion for about a minute. Add in the ribs and the wine lees, stir for about 30 seconds, add the rice wine, sugar and soy sauce, stir it well and add enough water to cover all the ribs.

Bring it to boil, turn the heat down and cook until the ribs are tender.

Taste it a little, and see if it needs some salt or sugar, add accordingly, to taste.

Very tasty Lees stew Ribs..
