Chinese Toon Sauce Fried Rice 香椿酱炒饭



I made Chinese Toon Sauce with Chinese Toon young leaves I collected from my friend's backyard not long ago. 

My first use of it was to make this fried rice, the taste is very unique and almost galicky. I like it very much!

之前把从朋友家收集来的香椿嫩叶一大半做了香椿酱,一小半做了香椿煎蛋。

香椿酱先拿来做了这个炒饭,香椿独特的香味让炒饭很美味,让人吃了还想再吃。



Ingredients:
1 Bowl of cooked rice (cooled)
2 tbsp of Cashew nuts/Pine nuts (Roasted)
2 tbsp of Diced Carrot
2 tbsp of Diced french bean/long bean/garlic scape

材料:
1 大勺 香椿酱
1 大碗 冷饭
2 大勺 烤香的 腰果
2 大勺 切丁的胡萝卜
2 大勺 切丁的豇豆/四季豆/蒜苔



1. Heat up a cooking pan/wok and add 1 tbsp of cooking oil, add diced carrot and french bean, stir for 1 minute.

2. Add cooled rice and Chinese Toon sauce, stir fry until the rice and vegetables are well mixed, continue cooking at high heat for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. 

3. Sprinkle some roasted cashew nuts before serving. You can also use pine nuts instead.

1. 炒锅里热上一大勺的食油,加入萝卜丁和蒜苔,煸炒一下。

2. 加入米饭和香椿酱,大火炒香,大约2-3分钟。

3. 撒上腰果或者松果即可食用。
