Kimchee Fried Rice 【韩国泡菜炒饭】

Kimchee Fried Rice is one of my favorite way to use left over rice, a quick delicious fix for dinner.


1 bowl of cold rice (overnight rice works)
1/2 cup of Cabbage Kimchee (sliced)
1/4 Bombay onion (chopped)
A small piece of spam or sausage (cubed)
1 tsp of Korean Chili Sauce
1/2 tsp of Soy Sauce

1 Sunny egg
Some chopped scallion for garnishing

1 大碗 冷饭 (隔夜饭也可以)
1/2 杯 韩国泡白菜 (切段)
1/4 只 洋葱 (切碎)
一小块 火腿/火腿肠 (切丁)
1 小勺 韩国辣酱
1/2 小勺 酱油

1 只 荷包蛋

1. Prepare the ingredients accordingly, and make the sunny egg and set aside.

2. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a frying pan, add chopped onion and fry for a minute or two,  add the chopped sausage/spam and sliced kimchee. Stir fry for few minutes until fragrance.

3. Add the rice and continue stirring until all the ingredients are well blended, season with Korean chili paste and soy sauce, cook for 2-3 more minutes and serve hot with sunny egg and some chopped scallion.

1. 先把材料都准备好,该切丁的切丁,该切段的切段。把荷包蛋煎好,备用。

2. 热锅后加一大勺食油,把洋葱丁入锅炒香后加入火腿肠和泡菜煸炒香。

3. 加入米饭炒散后加入韩国辣酱和酱油继续煸炒香后起锅,撒点葱花,即可和荷包蛋一起上桌。
