Chewy Pine Nut Oatmeal Raisin Cookie 【松子燕麦曲奇】


During these cold rainy autumn days, our favorite thing to do would be a cuppa hot tea and some spicy homemade cookies......

So I made these Chewy Pine Nut oatmeal Raisin Cookie, a special treat for special season--- my favorite fall!

天凉了我们最喜欢下午时分吃茶点,一杯热腾腾的奶茶加上自己烤的曲奇饼,很写意,很舒服。。

今天做的这个是松子燕麦曲奇,松软好吃。

Masala Baigan (Spicy Brinjal with shredded coconut) 【椰香茄子】


According to my mum in law, my husband dislikes brinjal as a little boy, on the contrary, I am a brinjal lover, and could eat it in whichever way it is cooked. 

But here is one spicy brinjal dish that my husband has developed a liking, especially when it is prepared to go with his beloved Kadhi and rice.

据我婆婆说,我老公从小就不喜欢吃茄子。然而,我却是茄子爱好者,茄子怎么做我都爱吃。

可这道茄子菜却是让老公改变口味的一道茄子菜,带着浓浓的椰子和腰果香气,真的很好吃。

Cumin Mutton 孜然羊肉片

I never used to prepare mutton at home until hubby developed liking of mutton when he was in Salt Lake City for a short project last year. Where one of his colleagues brought him to a place for lamb curry. He came home requesting for mutton curry.

I didn't see mutton when I shopped for groceries last week, but I found this thinly sliced mutton. So, I made this Cumin Mutton instead, N finished the whole plate and asked for more!


我们家本来是不吃羊肉的,自从老公上一次到盐湖城出差跟着两个吃荤的同事去吃了两次羊肉咖喱之后,就一直要我给他做一次羊肉。


周末去中国超市没有看见有羊肉块,只找到切得超薄的羊肉片,就买了回来,给他做孜然羊肉。

Aloo Gobi (Spicy Cauliflower and potatoes) 【香辣土豆菜花】


Aloo Gobi is a North Indian Vegetarian Dish made with cauliflowers, potatoes and indian spices, it is a perfect side dish for a good meal consist of dal/curry and flat bread (Roti/Naan).

This recipe I am using is one of the best recipe I have learnt, it never fails to impress our guest, many of my Chinese friends actually tried this after reading my post previously!

这个香辣土豆菜花(Aloo Gobi)食谱是我试过最好吃的食谱,作为side dish很好。是素食者很好的一个选择哦!

【港式豉油皇炒面】Hong Kong Style fried Noodle


在马来西亚长大的我,可以说是由港剧伴随着长大的,我会说一口流利的广东话除了因为我的第一个男友是香港人外,港剧的熏陶功不可没哦!港剧让人印象最深刻的就是早餐桌上的这个港式炒面加白粥感觉好吃的不得了。

多年以后第一次去香港玩,一下机马上去吃了一个豉油皇炒面加白粥,把我当时的男朋友笑得不行。

For those who grew up watching Hongkong series (like me), it will be hard not to notice this fried noodle on every Hongkong movie's breakfast table.

I was so curious about its taste that this was the first thing I ordered in the Dim sum place when I first visited Hongkong!

Kaddu ki Subzi/Spicy Pumpkin 【香辣南瓜】


This is one dish that I like to make during fall season, when pumpkin are abundant and tasting at its best!

已经是吃南瓜的时节了,看见菜市场的南瓜很好,就买了一大块,一半做了这个香辣南瓜,另外一半打算做南瓜浓汤。
