Cornflakes Chiwada 【印式花生玉米片小零食】

When I was living in India years back, I liked bringing some spicy snacks from the supermarket, one of them was similar to this peanut cornflakes snack that I make today.

Trader Joe's organic cornflakes is very suitable to make this snack, since it is low in sugar. I bought a box of it when I last shopped for my grocery and asked for some fresh curry leaves from my neighbor to make this delicious snack, it is such a good treat.


前几天在Trader Joe's 看见低糖版的有机玉米片,很适合拿来做这款零食,买一盒回家,再向隔壁邻居要来一点新鲜的咖喱叶,几分钟就做出好吃的小零食,真是太棒了。

4-5 杯 低糖玉米片 (cornflakes)
1 杯 烤香的花生米
一杯 咖喱叶
2 大勺 黄油/Butter

1/8 小勺 食盐
1/2 小勺 辣椒粉
1/2 小勺 孜然粉
1/2 小勺 Chaat Masala 
1/2 小勺 孜然
1/2 小勺 芥菜籽

4-5 cups low sugar cornflakes
1 cup roasted peanuts
1 cup curry leaves
2 tablespoons Butter

1/8 tsp table salt
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp Chaat Masala
1/2 tsp cummin seeds
1/2 tsp mustard seeds

1. 锅里热上2 大勺黄油,把咖喱叶加入煸香。

2. 加入所有调味料,马上把之前预先用气炸锅烤香的花生米加入,快速翻匀。

3. 熄火,把玉米片加入翻匀,冷却即可装罐食用。

1. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a cooking pan, add curry leaves and stir fry till fragrant.

2. Add all the seasonings listed, immediately add the peanuts that have been pre-roasted in the air fryer, stir quikly.

3. Turn the heat off and add the corn flakes, mix well and let cool before storing in air tight container. Serve as snacks with hot tea.
