Toddler Meal -- 3 minutes Microwave Milo Cake

This infamous milo cake has gone viral on our Malaysian in USA group on FB. I made this for AS over the weekend with a little twist of my own.

This cake is so easy that even my 3 year old can do it. (With mommy's assistant of course). I let him measure out the ingredients and do all the stirring work, it was a fun filled math and cooking lessons and great family activity, not to mention yummy and quick!

Ingredients:
4 tbsp of Milo (or cocoa powder)
3 tbsp of all purpose flour
1 tbsp of chickpea flour (Or substitute with all purpose flour)
2 tbsp of sugar
4 tbsp of Milk/Soy Milk
2 tsp of avocado oil (or any cooking oil)
1 tsp of butter
1 medium size egg (I used 3 quail eggs)
1/2 tsp of Baking Powder

1. Place the liquid ingredients first in a mixing bowl, add the powdered ingredients and whisk all ingredients together to form a batter. Let the batter rest for 3-5 minutes.

2. Spray or rub a thin layer of oil on 2 ramekins or mugs, pour the batter into ramekins in two equal parts.

3. Microwave it for 3 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or just as it is!

Note: My microwave is 1000 watts and takes exactly 3 minutes to cook the cake to perfection, you can adjust the cooking time according to your microwave wattage to reach desirable result.
