Tilapia fish has a slight muddy flavour, spices in this particular recipe could get the smell/flavour out, and make the fish super tasty!
Ingredients:
1 Tilapia fish ( around 1 lb)
3-4 Dried Chilies(Or fresh red chilies)
2-3 Spring onion (use only the white part)
1 Slice of ginger
3-4 Cloves of garlic
1 1/2 tbsp Soy Paste
4-5 tbsp Sweet Thai Chili sauce
Some shredded ginger or spring onion for garnishing
Ground together all the raw spices with some water, in a cooking pan, add 2 tbsp of oil, and cook the spices till oil separated at the edge.
Clean the fish and slice one cut both the sides of the fish for better penetration of spices. Use a aluminium foil long enough to wrap the whole fish, laid the fish and pour sauces over it, wrap it well.
Preheat oven to 380 F, bake the fish for 20-25 minutes, and make sure you serve it immediately.
Note: You can also steam the fish at high heat for 12 minutes, with the foil wrapped on.
Sprinkle some shredded ginger after its done.
It goes well with Steamed jasmine rice!
