Thai Lettuce Wraps 泰式生菜包


My husband N went to the gym last weekend and came home demanding high protein low carb lunch.  

I have some organic minced chicken breast and romaine lettuce in the fridge, so here it is, Thai Chicken lettuce wraps for lunch!

俊爹周末时去健身房回来就要求高蛋白低碳水化合物的午餐。冰箱里有一包有机肉末和一包生菜,我就做了这款泰式生菜包。加点切碎的辣椒,香辣好吃又饱肚哦!

Ingredients:
250 gm of minced meat ( I used ground Chicken breast this time)
2-3 cloves of garlic
2-3 red or green Thai Chilies (Adjust the quantity for the level of heat you like)
2-3 heads of Romaine lettuce

For seasoning:

1 tsp Fish sauce / nam pla
1 tsp of light soy sauce
1 tsp Sweet soy sauce
1/2 tsp of oyster sauce

材料:

250 克 肉末 (我用了鸡胸肉末)
2-3 瓣 蒜瓣
2-3 只红或绿的朝天椒 (可根据喜好增减)
2-3 头 罗马生菜

调味料:

1 小勺 鱼露/Fish sauce / nam pla
1 小勺 酱油/生抽/light soy sauce
1 小勺 甜酱油/Sweet soy sauce
1/2 小勺 蚝油



1. Minced garlic and shallot, h
eat up 2-3 tbsp of oil in a wok/cooking pan, cook the minced chicken until changed color.

2. Add the minced garlic and shallot, cook until fragrant, around 3-5 minutes.


3. Season with fish sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce and sweet soy sauce. Continue cooking for few more minutes until the meat is fully cooked.

4. Add chopped thai chilies before serving. 


5. To assemble, use lettuce leaves to contain the chicken, roll up and eat!


1. 把蒜瓣和红葱头切碎/切片。在锅里热上2-3大勺的食油,把·鸡肉末倒入煸炒至变色。

2. 加入蒜蓉和红葱头片,炒香。加入调味料继续煮至肉末变熟。

3. 加入切碎的朝天椒即可。把炒好的鸡肉末铺在生菜叶上,包起即可开吃。
