Edamame salad 【凉拌毛豆荚】


This Edamame/green soy bean dish is a very simple, tasty and healthy snack.

The Soy plants I planted in the spring is now time to harvest, it is about time to make us some yummy snack this afternoon!

这是跟网友爱厨学的小吃。是台湾那里喝泡沫红茶时很多人喜欢点的小食,我每次做老公都可以一边看电影一边把一磅的毛豆都搞定。

今年春天的时候我在后院种了十几棵的毛豆,长得非常好,结的豆荚都很饱满。今天收一盆回来做这个凉拌毛豆吃。

Ingredients: 
300 g of Edamame/Green soy bean 
2-3 cups of Water 
1 1/2 tsp of Salt 
1-2 Star Anise 
1/2 tsp Freshly grounded black pepper powder
1/2 tsp Sesame oil 

材料: 
300 克 毛豆 
2-3 杯 水 
1 1/2 小勺 食盐 
1-2 只 大料/八角 
1/2 小勺 现磨黑胡椒粉
1/2 小勺 麻油/香油


1. My soy plant in the backyard and one day worth of harvest. You can also use frozen ones that you can find in Asian supermarket or Japanese supermarket.

2.Boil water with star anise and 1 tsp of salt for few minutes. Add the soybeans and cook for 5 minutes. Drain and let cold.

3. Once it is cooled down enough, add salt and pepper to marinate for half an hour, add the sesame oil and mix well. Keep the edamame in the refrigerator overnight. Serve cold and it can be kept for a few days.
 
1. 锅里放入2-3大杯水、食盐和八角,煮滚。加入毛豆荚煮5分钟后捞出沥干备用。

2. 把毛豆移入一个大盆中,加入盐和现磨的黑胡椒腌半个小时,半个小时后加入麻油拌匀,然后冷藏,冰凉了就可以吃了。
