Chilled Peppered Green Soya Bean

This chilled green soya bean is a very simple, tasty and healthy snack, I normally prepare like 2 pounds at one go, and keep it in the fridge, we like to snack on it alot!

Green soya bean 1 pound(450g)
Water 8 glasses
Salt 2 teaspoons
Star Anise 2
Freshly crush black pepper powder, 1 teaspoon.
Sesame oil 1 teaspoon

This is the frozen green soya bean, you could find this is all asian supermarket or japanese store.

Boil water with star anise, once the water is boiling, add the soya bean (do not need to defrost it), cook for 5 minutes, drain the water, keep star anise. Leave it aside and let cold.

Once it is cold down, add salt and pepper and marinate for half an hour, add the sesame oil, mix well, then keep it in the refrigerator over night. It is good for few days.
