Bread pudding is one of my favourite dessert while having guest around... I like to use the oven alot if I am having party at home, and bread pudding comes in perfect in this case, as while I serve hot dish from oven, I could straight away turn the soaked and ready bread pudding in, and once dinner is done, so is my bread pudding!
I could just serve it while it is freshly made, no reheating require... it is simply perfect!
4 pieces of thick bread (old bread works)
1 tbsp butter（melted）
1/3 cup raisin
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tbsps brown sugae (for base)
3/4 tsp cinnamon powder
3/4 tsp vanilla extract
Halve bread pieces into half and form a triangle shape, brush some melted butter at the bottom of baking utensil
Mixed together eggs, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, vanilla extract and milk. sprinkle cinnamon powder and sugar evenly at the bottom of baking utensil
Place bread evenly in any style you like, add raisin, and slowly and evenly pour in the egg and milk mixture, set aside for half an hour.
While serving dinner, place the pudding in oven, at 450F, bake for 20 minutes, and let it sit in oven for about 5 minutes before serving.
