Green Chutney Ice Cubes -- A brilliant way to store your chutney!

It is kind of hard to prepare chutney in small quantity and when I do prepare in bulk, storing is always another challenge, the taste and color of the sauce will change over time.

One day when I was doing my routine squeezing lemon juice to make ice cubes for my daily lemon water. I suddenly thought, maybe I could do the same for Chutney!

So the next time when I make green chutney, I made sure that I had enough to fill a ice container! It turned out to be very beautiful, the best part is, every time when I defrost 1-2 pieces, they always look and taste like fresh!

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cup Coriander leaves
1 cup mint leaves
5-6 green chillies or to your taste
3 tbsp lime/lemon juice

Seasoning:
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Roasted Coriander powder
1 tsp Roasted Cummin powder

Blend together all ingredients with little water, as little as you can and make it a paste, pour the paste into ice cubes maker, deep freeze.

Remove the cubes and store in zip-lock bag or sealed container. Use 1-2 cubes as and when needed by defrosting it or microwaves for 30 second.
