Masala Chicken Coorg

I probably have made this Masala Chicken like a hundred times, and it never failed to amazed my friends.. its simply yummy and it is so simple to prepare!

2-3 lbs of chicken thigh/ wings (chopped into 1 inche pieces)
1 Medium onion
4-5 cloves of garlic
1 inche of ginger
4-5 green chilies (cut into half if you like lesser heat)
1 tsp Chili powder
1 tsp Cummin powder
1/2 tsp Pepper powder (Black or white)
1 tbsp applce cider/lime juice/lemon juice/vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsps Oil

Grind together all the ingredients (but oil) with 1/4 cup of water into a consistent paste. Marinate the chicken with the paste for about 2 hours, overnight will be better.

After that in a cookware (Claypot cooks better than wok or steel utensil, it preserved natural juice of chicken pieces better.) add 2 tbsps of cooking oil, at medium--lower flame, add the marinated chicken pieces and cook (with lid on) for about 30-45 minutes until the chicken is tender.
