This summer was one of the hottest summer in past many years, great weather plants that thrive in hot weather... my Okra grows very well this year.
I harvested a bunch last week and didn't have time to cook until today. I was thinking of making some con-gee for lunch, and this okra dish is simply perfect for to go with it.
1/3 cup of minced meat （I used minced turkey）Marinate with 1 tbsp of cooking wine and a pinch of salt
2-3 green chilies Optional
2-3 cloves of garlic （Sliced or minced）
2 tsp fish sauce/soy sauce
A pinch of pepper powder Optional
Clean and cut okra diagonally to about 3 mm thick, minced chilies, marinate minced meat.
Heat up 1 tbsp of oil in a cooking pan, stir garlic and chilli until fragrant, add the minced meat and break it loose, when it is cooked, add the okra pieces, and cook for about 3-5 minutes or until it appears a little stickiness on the surface, season with fish sauce or soy sauce.
Sprinkle some pepper powder before serving.
