Chocolate Coated Strawberries

We were invited to a pool party last weekend. The host made it clear that we need not bring any food but dessert is welcome. So I made this beautiful chocolate coated strawberries that I had so much fun making and the kids had so much fun eating!

Ingredients:
260 gm (6 x 1.55 oz)  Milk Chocolate (Dark Chocolate is OK too)
2 lbs of Strawberries (Washed and dry with paper towel)

Others:
1/3 Cup of Shredded coconut
1/3 Cup of roasted peanut or almond (Chopped)

1. Prepare all ingredients accordingly, pierce a toothpick into head of strawberries if you prefer.

2. Bring 1/4 pot water to boil, switch off the stove, place a small bowl with chopped chocolate inside the pot and wait till the chocolate melt.

3. Holding a strawberry by the stem or toothpick, dip it in chocolate and twirling a little to let the whole fruit coat with chocolate, drips off the excessive chocolate back into bowl.

4. Sprinkle chopped nuts or coconut to garnish. Place the berry over baking sheet or wax paper. If you like the shape stays round, halved a potato, and stick the toothpick with berries onto potato before sending it to chill in the fridge.

I had two before I even finished making it!

It is so presentable and good looking, The host thought I bought them!
