【香辣秋葵】Bhindi Masala (Spicy Okra)


There are many ways to prepare Okra (ladies finger), this one goes well with any type of curry. I also love to have it with Biryani, just make the rice taste much better...

20只 秋葵
1 只 洋葱 切丝

1 只 番茄
两只 青辣椒
1 小块 姜
两瓣 蒜

1/2 小勺 芫荽粉
1/2 小勺 印度五香粉 Garam Masala
1/4 小勺 辣椒粉
1/4 小勺 姜黄粉

20 Young Okra (Ladies finger)
1 onion, shredded
Grind together below ingredients:
1 medium tomato
2 green chilies
1 small piece of ginger
2 cloves of garlic

1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp of Garam Masala
1/4 tsp of chili
1/4 tsp of turmeric powder
Salt to taste

1. 先把秋葵切大约1cm长的小块。把番茄,青辣椒,姜和蒜搅拌成糊。

2.  洋葱切丝,锅里加两大匙油,把葱丝爆香。

3. 把洋葱丝取出,然后倒入刚刚搅拌好的番茄糊,煮至泛油之后,把所有的香料和盐倒入。

4. 翻炒几秒钟,然后倒入切好的秋葵。翻炒大约半分钟,然后加入刚刚取出的洋葱丝。再翻炒半分钟,就好了。 香辣好吃的Masala Bhindi

1. Cut Okra into about 1.5 cm in length. Blend tomato, green chilies, ginger and garlic into a smooth paste.

2. Fry shredded onion in a cooking pan with 2 tsps of oil until it turn brown color. Take the onion out and keep aside.

3. Add grounded ingredients into the pan and add a little oil, cook the paste until oil separated, add all the powder spices and salt and stir for few seconds.

4. Add okra pieces and turn well to make sure all pieces coated with spices. Add the fried onion, and cook for another 1 minute.

Serve warm with flat breads.
