【香煎小土豆】Roasted Baby Potatoes with spices

入夏以后,院子里开始有收成了。土豆也开花了,稍微挖开就看见好多的土豆baby,洗干净做这个香辣好吃的香煎小土豆。真香!

The first batch of Potato I put in my garden are flowering now,it is about time to check out some baby potatoes to make this really delicious dish.

There is no comparison to fresh potato from your own garden, really!!

材料:

300克 土豆/马铃薯

1-2 大勺 黄油/Butter

1 小勺 孜然

1/2 小勺 孜然粉

1/2 小勺 辣椒粉

1/2 小勺 姜黄粉

1/2 小勺 盐 

1 大勺 葱花


Ingredients:
300 gm baby potato
1-2 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp Chopped Spring Onion

For Seasoning:
1 tsp Cumin Seed (Jeera)
1/2 tsp Cumin Powder (Jeera Powder)
1/2 tsp Chilli Powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp Salt (Or to taste)



1. 小土豆清洗干净,不必去皮,比较大的切成差不多大小。撒点水,入微波炉加盖转5-6分钟,以叉子叉得进土豆里为准。

2. 在一口平底锅里中火把黄油溶解,倒入煮熟的小土豆,用个铲子稍微压扁土豆块,两面煎黄。

3. 加入所有的调味料,翻匀,加盖稍微煮1-2分钟,起锅前撒入葱花翻匀即可。

香辣好吃的香煎小土豆!

1. Clean the baby potatoes, cut into bite size if it is larger. Add some water to the potatoes and cover with a lid, microwave the potatoes for 5-6 minutes, or until a fork could easily poke into the potatoes。

2. Melt 1 tbsp of butter at medium heat in a cooking pan. Add the cooked potatoes, lightly crush the potatoes with a potato masher. 

3. Roast both sides of the potato until golden brown in color.

4. Add everything under seasoning, turn the potatoes and make sure all potato pieces are coated with spices, cover with lid and cook for another 1-2 minutes, sprinkle chopped spring onion before serving.

Its a good snack/side dish!
