I like badam milk, cold or hot, and with vitamix, it is much easier to make this drink at home.. it was more than 100 F here in NJ for the past few days, I decided to make the cold badam milk as refreshment in the afternoon!
1/2 cup Almond (soaked in water for at least 2 hours if using normal mixer/blender, as I am using Vitamix, this step was voided）
1/3 cup Pistachio
3 cup of cold low fat milk
1/2 cup of chilled water + 1/2 cup of ice cube
2 tbsp sugar/brown sugar
1/4 tsp cardamom Powder
1 tbsp Rose Water
2-3 drops of Pandan/Screwpine Essence
some of the ingredients needed
Blend together all ingredients with 1 cup of cold milk, when it become smooth, add the remaining milk, water and ice cube and blend into smoothie.
It is good for a summer afternoon!
Note: For warm version, you could heat the blended smoothie on stove/microwave, or use warm milk instead of cold milk/ice/cold water.
