Lightly Spiced Peanuts Masala (Microwaved) 【微波炉版简易香辣花生】


Our favorite weekend activities is to snugged in and watch a good movie or read a good book, with that often accompanied by some homemade snacks.

This lightly spiced peanuts is one of the snacks that we liked. It can be done preparing under 10 minutes and stored well for days, a good choice for party starter as well.

1 杯 花生 (洗净沥干)

1 大勺 鹰嘴豆粉(Besan)或面粉
1 大勺 粘米粉
1/2 小勺 辣椒粉
1/4 小勺 姜黄/黄姜粉 (Turmeric Powder)
1/4 小勺 盐
1/4 小勺 孜然粉(Cumin Powder)
1/4 小勺 Chaat Masala  可无
1 大勺 食油
3 大勺 水

1 cup raw peanuts(wash and drained)

For coating:(Blend together below ingredients)
1 tbsp Besan/chickpea flour or all purpose flour
1 tbsp Rice flour
1/2 tsp Chili powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder)
1/4 tsp Salt or to taste
1/4 tsp Cumin Powder
1/4 tsp Chaat Masala  Optional
1 tbsp Oil
3 tbsp Water

1. 把皮衣材料混合匀,然后把花生米倒入拌匀,倒到一个盘子里,铺平。

2. 微波炉高火2分钟,拿出来,用叉子把花生分开,再继续微波2分钟。冷却即可食用。

1.Whisk together all ingredients listed under coating, pour in the peanuts and mix well, until all peanuts coated with the spices evenly.

2. Spread the peanuts over a flat plate, microwave at high for 3 minutes, take it out and separate the nuts with a fork, continue to microwave for another 2 minutes or until it is done.

Let it cold completely before serving.

Note:Every microwaves may cooks a little differently, try to cook two minutes and increase every two minutes until it is done if you are not sure about the wattage of your microwave.
Note:If you like thicker coating, doubled the chickpea flour and rice flour to form thicker shell.

Lightly spiced and very tasty...
