Simple Dal (Moong Dal)【简易绿豆糊】


Dal is comfort food for many Indians, and this simple dal recipe could be made and serve in under 20 minutes, time saving healthy food indeed.

孩子出生后妈妈来帮我做月子,一直都没时间也没机会下厨。这几天宝宝终于睡得比较安稳了,我的精神也恢复了点。

老公下午可怜兮兮的问我能不能给他做点吃的,趁孩子睡着的时候,十分钟内给做了个简易绿豆糊,这也是平时我懒得做菜的时候经常给老公做的快捷菜肴之一。


Ingredients:
1/2 Cup split moong bean (Washed)
1/2 Carrot or any vegetables of your liking
1/4 Tomato (Cubed)
2-3 Green Chili

Seasoning:
1/2 tsp Tamarind Paste
1/8 tsp Turmeric Powder
Salt to taste

For Tadka:
2 tbsp Cooking Oil
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 tsp Chili powder
4-5 Curry Leaves (Optional)

材料:

1/2 杯 绿豆瓣 (洗干净)

1/2 根胡萝卜/或任何根茎类蔬菜

1/4 只 番茄 (切块)

2-3 根青辣椒

 

调味料:

1/2 小勺 罗望子膏 (Tamarind Paste)

1/8 小勺  姜黄 (Turmeric Powder)

盐 适量

 

红油材料:

2 大勺 食油

1/2 小勺 芥菜籽 (Mustard Seeds)

1/2 小勺 孜然 (Cumin Seeds)

1 小勺 辣椒粉

4-5 片 咖喱叶 (Optional)


1. Clean the moong bean and add about 1 1/2 cup of water, 1/2 tsp of tamarind paste, turmeric powder and 1 tsp salt.

2. Cut the vegetables in bite size add into the dal, pressure cook for 8 minutes, let the pressure out naturally, open the pressure cooker when gas releases, stir it well.

3. To make tadka (red oil), place all the spices (beside chili powder) and oil in a microwaveable bowl, microwave for 2 minutes, take it out and add chili powder, wait for 2-3 minutes before pouring over the bean soup.

Stir well, and it is good to serve. 

1. 把绿豆饼洗净加1 1/2 杯水,罗望子膏,姜黄和大约 1 tsp 盐。

2. 把蔬菜辣椒切块/段,和绿豆瓣一起用高压锅压8分钟,自然出气。然后打开稍微搅拌。

3. 准备红油,把油和除了辣椒粉以外的所有材料放到一个可以微波炉的小碗里,微波2 分钟,然后取出加入辣椒粉,稍微等2-3分钟,就可以倒到绿豆糊里,搅拌均匀就可以吃了。
