Oven Baked Tandoori Chicken

I have been wanting to make this famous Indian BBQ dish for a long time. Not until last week that I had a chance to make it for a party. I used a secret ingredient to dye my Tandoori chicken, it is healthy and 100 percent natural. The result was stunning and I just love love how it looks!

Anybody know what is the secret ingredient used?

Ingredients:
5 Thigh & Leg  Skinned and make a few cuts
1 cup Natural Yogurt
1 tbsp Coriander Powder
1 tbsp Chili Powder or to taste
1 tbsp Tandoori Masala
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 tbsp Ang Chow (Chinese Red Vinasse)  Vinasse) or two drops of red coloring
1 tsp Cummin Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
2 tsp salt or to taste

1. Clean the chicken and remove skin, make a few cuts to help penetration of marinates. Blend together all other ingredients, pour over chicken and stir well, place the chicken in a container with lid, cover and marinate for at least 6 hours. ( I did mine over night).

2. Preheat oven to 375 F (190 C), place the chicken on a baking sheet with foil paper, bake for 25-30 minutes, take out and remove the juices (Keep the juices and use it to make egg curry later, your curry will taste so much better!).

3. Turn the oven to Broil, broil for 10-15 minutes or until the chicken charred.

Squeeze some lemon/lime juice on the chicken before serving!
