Fish Tikka 【印式碳烤鱼块】

As I mentioned in my previous post , N brought back a big piece of salmon last weekend and I turned the thinner part of the salmon into Teriyaki Salmon Bento for A. 

The thicker part were marinated with yogurt and spices overnight and made into this yummy fish tikka.  

We turned the TV on and watch a good movie while enjoying the tikkas with beer and ice tea in the evening. 


1 lb Salmon Fish Fillet(cut into bite size pieces)
A little oil

For marination:
1/2 cup whole Yogurt
1 tsp lime/lemon juice ( Or vinegar if you prefer)
1 tsp Cummin powder
1/2 tbsp Tandoori Masala powder(or 1/2 tsp of cinnamon powder and a little red colouring if you do not have tandoori masala)
2 tsp Chilli Powder (less for lesser heat)
1 tsp  black pepper powder
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp salt (or to taste)

1 lb 三文鱼块(大约麻将大)


1/2 杯 全脂优格
1 tsp 柠檬或青柠汁 (可用白醋代替)
1 tsp 孜然粉/Cummin powder
1/2 tbsp Tandoori Masala powder(或 1/2 tsp 的桂皮粉和一点点的红色素代替)
2 tsp 辣椒粉/Chilli Powder (不嗜辣可适量减少)
1 tsp  黑胡椒/black pepper powder
1 tsp 姜蒜蓉/ginger garlic paste
1 tsp 或适量的盐

1. Mix together all the ingredients under marination using a whisk, add the fish pieces and coat each one of them well with the spices. Let it marinates for at least 2-3 hours.

2. Spray or brush a layer of oil on a baking pan, turn the oven to grill. Place the fish pieces over baking pan and spray a layer of cooking oil.

3. Grill the fish for 10 minutes, turn to the other side and grill for 5-8 minutes more of until charred.

1. 把所有的腌料用打蛋器混合,然后加入鱼块,拌匀。腌2-3个小时。
2. 在一个烤盘上喷上或刷上一层薄薄的油,把鱼块摆在烤盘上然后把烤箱开到Grill的部分,然后在鱼块上喷上一层薄薄的油。
3. 先烤10分钟,翻面,再烤5-8分钟或至上色。
