I normally make Colocasia/ Arbi into Masala Arbi, my husband's favourite. Today I kinda looking for something crunchy and tasty, so I made this super yummy Colocasia Wedges!
5-6 Large Colocasia or 10-12 Small colocasia (Arbi)
3 tbsp Rice Flour
1 tbsp Gram Flour
1 tsp Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/4 tsp Asafoetida Powder/Hing
1/2 tsp Salt
Wash and boil the Colocasia until its cook but not mushy, use a fork to poke it and it should be a little hard to poke in but not too hard that you need to force too much., let it cold and remove skin. Cut it into wedges/ bite size pieces.
Mixed together all the spices and flour, and toss the colocasia pieces until well coated.
Heat up about 2 inches of oil. Fry the Colocasia pieces until its well done.
It can be serve as side dish and starter too!
