As the weather gets colder, I could only think of warm food in the morning, such as this sandwich.
With a cuppa hot chocolate it not only gives warmth to my stomach, it also kicks start my day with good energy! It is energizing enough just by thinking of it!
4 slices of sandwich bread
2 tsp butter
2 tsp Pudina /Hari Chutney
60 gm of Paneer/Indian Cottage Cheese
Few slices of tomato for garnishing
Ingredients needed, this bread from Hmart is very good for sandwiches..
Slice paneer into 2mm thick sticks. Spread butter on all the bread.
Place one slice of bread on a sandwich maker/ or mini grill，butter side facing out, place the paneer stick on the bread, spread the chutney over paneer.
Cover the paneer with another slice of bread, butter side facing out too. Grill the sandwich till golden brown in colour.
Good combination of protein and carbohydrate... great vegetarian breakfast !
