It's the Ramadhan month again, my FB page was flooded with all the yummy foods my friends back home bought from the street and night market, it got me craving for the street foods back home so much that I decided to make this stuffed tofu at home today. It is my favourite street foods from Malay stalls and it goes so well with my homemade Thai Sweet Chili Sauce
4 Firm Tofu
1/2 small cucumber shred or cut into thin juliennes
1/2 carrot shred or cut into thin juliennes
1 cup moong bean sprout （blanched and drained）
1/2 cup Thai Sweet Chili Sauce
1. Pat dry the tofu with kitchen towel, heat up 1 cup of cooking oil in a wok, fry tofu until golden brown in color.
2. Halved the tofu diagonally to form triangles. Slit tofu on the long side in the middle of the triangle to form a pocket.
2. Toss together the vegetables. Stuffed as many vegetables as you can manage into tofu. Serve with Thai sweet chili sauce over tofu.
