have always ordered this stew whenever I visited a Korean restaurant and have
been thinking of of making it once at home.
I bought a box of neck bone from Korean supermarket last weekend, together
with zucchini and potatoes from my garden, I made this super yummy
stew for dinner!
I love the fact that it has got everything, from soup to protein to vegetables
in one pot... good dish to dine alone!
周末到韩国超市买菜的时候买了一大盒子的汤骨头,为的就是做这个韩式骨头汤,很喜欢用它来泡饭,浓浓的肉骨香味,和很多的蔬菜一起吃,是一个人吃饭的时候很适合做的一道菜。

Okra with Minced Meat 【肉末炒秋葵】
This summer was one of the hottest summer in past many years, good for plants that thrive in hot weather, Okra is one of them.
I harvested a bunch last week and didn't have time to cook until today. I was thinking of making some con-gee for lunch, and this okra dish is simply perfect for go with it.
今年夏天天气比较热,院子里的秋葵长得很是不错,收成了好多却一直没时间做。
今天想吃点粥,就做了个肉末秋葵下粥。简单好吃又营养!

【乾煸四季豆】Stir Fry French Bean the Sichuan Style
上周过得非常忙碌,没什么时间去买菜,周日上午吃了一个星期外食的老公突然要求说要吃干煸四季豆,这道菜是他最喜欢的中菜之一。
懒得出门的我就跟他说:“如果妈妈种的四季豆结得够多的话就给你做一次!”
可能因为最近雨水足,院子里的四季豆居然收了一大盆。午餐桌上就有了这道美味的干煸四季豆啦!
有自家院子产的蔬菜吃真幸福!
Last week was crazy busy for me again, had no time to shop for grocery and been surviving on take out and sandwiches from delis!
This weekend I was thinking of making something at home and was still lazy to go to the market. I went and check at my square foot vegetable garden and was delighted to find that the french bean is again fruiting so well. I harvest a bunch last week and didn't expect to harvest as much again this week!
Thanks to the good rain fall and sunny days right after! Nothing like fresh vegetables from your own garden! Right?

【印度小锅咖喱鸡】Karahi Chicken (Karahi Murgh)
Karahi在印巴语里就是镬或者铸铁锅的意思,所以Karahi Murgh就字面解释,就有点类似干锅鸡的意思。这道菜汤汁比一般的咖喱菜少,非常浓郁好吃。
前阵子朋友举家搬回印度定居,留了一箱子的香料给我,其中就有做这个锅子咖喱鸡的香料粉。好久不做咖喱鸡了,这个周末就做个锅子咖喱鸡吃吧!
And it turned out to be Superb!

Lightly Spiced Peanuts Masala (Microwaved) 【微波炉版简易香辣花生】
周末我和老公喜欢呆在家里,弄点小零食小点心,看几部好戏,或读一两本好书。
这个香辣花生是我们很喜欢一款零食,平时做点装罐,有客人来时也特别适合拿出来招待呢!
Our favorite weekend activities is to snugged in and watch a good movie or read a good book, with that often accompanied by some homemade snacks.
This lightly spiced peanuts is one of the snacks that we liked. It can be done preparing under 10 minutes and stored well for days, a good choice for party starter as well.
