Chicken tikka is a a great starter to have for party, left over could be store in the fridge for 2-3 days and quickly turn into this yummy Chicken tikka masala, a good gravy dish to go with homemade naan!

Seasoning:
1 tsp Sugar

Chicken tikka

1. Use a food processor to blend onion and garlic, almond, tomatoes SEPARATELY into paste.

2. In a heavy bottom pan, melt 3 tbsp of butter, pour in onion and garlic paste, cook until oil separated at the edge. Add cardamom seeds, give a quick stir, add sugar.

3. Add almond paste, continue cooking until oil shows at the edge again, season with Chili powder, salt and Garam Masala. Add tomato paste and cook until volume reduced to half, stir in tomato Ketchup. Add chicken pieces, and turn until all chicken pieces coated with gravy.

4. Pour in 1/2 cup of water, bring to boil and continue cooking until gravy thickened. Add heavy cream or half and half before serving.
