【椰丝炸丸子】Cucur Kelapa/ Coconut Fritter

这款椰丝炸丸子没它的近亲马来炸虾饼和炸香蕉糕/丸子有名,却是另一款有名的马来街头小吃Rojak Mamak的标配。


Not as famous as its close relatives Cucur Udang & Cucur Pisang, this Coconut fritter is one of the essential ingredients in the famous Malaysian Street Food Rojak Mamak.

A very good snack for afternoon tea on its own too!


1 杯 椰丝

4 大勺 通用面粉

2 大勺 米粉

1/2 小勺 泡打粉

1/4 小勺 小苏打

1 大勺 糖

1 撮 盐

大约 1/4 杯水


1 cup of shredded coconut

4 tbsp of All purpose flour

2 tbsp of Rice flour

1/2 tsp of baking powder

1/4 tsp of baking soda

1 tbsp of sugar

1 pinch of salt

Approximately 1/4 cup of water 

1. 把全部材料混匀成糊状,静置醒面十分钟。

2. 锅里热上2-3寸油。

3. 用勺子把面糊搅拌一下,然后大约一勺一个的量,放到热油里中火炸至两面金黄。


1. Mix all the ingredients listed to form a thick batter, consistency of the batter should be similar to the one you would have for pancake. Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.

2. Heat about 2-3 inches of oil in a cooking pan, with the help of a spoon.

3. Mix the batter again and drop around 1 tbsp worth of batter into hot oil, a few tablespoons worth at a time. Fry both sides of the fritters until golden brown in color. 

Drain and serve warm with tea.
