Gobi Masala (Spicy Cabbage)

Cabbage was one of the cheapest vegetables in England, I used to eat plenty of it for it is good for storage, and good for my wallet!

I probably had too much cabbage during my years in England that for years after that, I subconsciously refuse this vegetable.... LOL

I guess its time for me to regain confidence in this beautiful nature's gift!

Ingredients:

2-300 gm cabbage (shredded)
1/2 cup frozen mixed vegetable (or any fresh vegetable that you fancy)
1/2 Bombay Onion
1 Medium Size tomato
1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste (Or shredded Ginger and minced garlic)

Seasoning:

1 tsp Cummin Seeds
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1/4 tsp Garam Masala
Salt to taste

Cubed the tomato, cut onion into ring. In a cooking pan, add about 2 tbsp of oil, stir fry cummin seeds and onion until fragrance.

Now add the shredded cabbage and frozen vegetable, stir fry for about 1-2 minutes, add Coriander powder, cook for another 2 minutes, now make a hole in the middle of the cooking pan, add the cubed tomato in the middle, cover the pan and cook for another 2 minutes, and add Garam Masala.

Add salt to taste, and it is done!

It is a good side dish, try it out!
