【墨西哥牛油果沾酱】Guacamole (Mexican Avocado Dip)

I don't have much idea about Mexican food before I came to the US.  And my first real Mexican food experience was in San Diego during one of my work trips.... and ever since... I am IN LOVE!!

I now make this delicious guacamole dip very often, it is a must have for our movie night.

1 fully ripe Avocado
1 tbsp lemon/lime juice
1/2 medium size tomato (I didn't use it this time)
2 clove of garlic(minced)
2 shallot(you can use half onion too)
1/4 tsp Chili powder
1/5 tsp Salt

Cut the avocado into half, take out the seed and scooped out all that delicious pulp, mash it well using a fork.

Now add chopped tomato, shallot and garlic, salt, chili powder and lemon/lime juice, mix well.

Serve with Corn tortilla chips...

From small noodle joints to upscale French restaurant, you will locate all sorts of restaurant, eating hall and snack stall on earth in Hong Kong. Here I found small amount of Hong-Kong-styled snacks online ( This is definitely a good choice before I have $ for another trip.
