This fresh garlic chutney is an essential ingredient for many Indian snacks and Chaat, its pungent and outstanding smell and taste makes those already delicious snacks simply unforgettable!!
Garlic Chutney:
1/2 cup garlic cloves (peeled)
1 tsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp of grated coconut
2 tbsp of grated coconut
1 tbsp of Imli ki chutney (Tamarind Chutney) alternatively, 2 tsp of tamarind paste plus 1 tsp of sugar
1 tbsp of chilli powder
1/2 tsp of salt (or to taste)
1 tbsp of lime/lemon juice
Blend together all ingredients in a blender to a smooth paste, the chutney is ready.
Store in a air tight container, this chutney could be store for about 3-4 days in the refrigerator.
