Simple tasty Thai Style Garlic Steamed Fish

This simple recipe is so simple that I couldn't believe it delivered such a brilliant taste!

The best part about it? It doesn't stink the kitchen like any other fishy recipe! Perfect for winter cooking, it's warm, it's spicy, it's appetizing... Couldn't ask for more!

Fish lover out there should ready give it a try!

400-500 gm salmon steak (Spanish Mackerel or White Pomfret works too)
8-10 cloves of garlic (Minced)
4-5 Thai Chilli (Minced)(or use a small piece of red pepper and 1 Thai chilli for lesser heat)

2 tbsp Calamansi Juice (Or lemon/lime juice)
1 tbsp Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Vegetable oil
1/2 tsp Fish Sauce/Soy Sauce
1/2 tsp salt
Few drops of sesame oil

Some of the ingredients:

Clean fish, pat dry using kitchen towel, or use a colander to drip excessive water. Minced garlic and chili  , Squeeze out Calamansi juice, if frozen one being used, thaw and measure 2 tbsp of juice.

Blend together garlic chili and all other seasoning ingredients.

Pour mixture over fish steak, spread garlic and chili evenly.

In a steamer or wok with a steamer stand, bring 1 1/2 cup water to boil. Place fish inside, with lid on, steam at high heat for 8 minutes.

Its ready!
